Under the Milkyway was by far one of the best one hit wonder songs from the late 80’s. It is a beautify yet haunting song, that tells the story of a deep spiritual yearning that exists both in the writer and in the people he is writing about. It expresses a yearning to be part of a creative community, yet without any real bond of love, something crucial to human relationships.
